About Jabee
Dubai, United Arab Emirates
Jabee is an AI assistant for WhatsApp. It reads a business's own website and documents, answers that business's customers from them in Arabic or English, and calls the business's own systems when a question needs a real answer rather than a plausible one.
It is built and operated by M4B1 For Computer Systems & Communication Equipment Software Design, a company registered in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, and founded by Mu'men Tayyem (LinkedIn).
Why it exists
Most small businesses in the Gulf sell on WhatsApp, and most of them answer their customers themselves, at eleven at night, on a Friday, during Eid. The messages that arrive while the shop is shut are not lost sales because nobody wanted to answer them. They are lost because a person has to sleep.
The tools that existed to fix that were flowchart builders: you draw the conversation in advance, and any question you did not anticipate falls through. That works for a bank and not for a bakery, where every third question is one nobody could have drawn.
So Jabee does not ask you to draw anything. It reads what you have already written — your site, your menu, your price list, a photograph of the board behind the counter — and works out the answer. When it cannot, it says so and fetches a person, rather than guessing at a price.
Two decisions that shape the whole product
It runs directly on Meta's official WhatsApp Cloud API. Not on an unofficial library. Libraries that log in as a WhatsApp user are against Meta's terms, and the businesses that use them lose the number their customers know. A number that keeps working is worth more than a fee avoided.
There is no reseller in between. Jabee connects to Meta directly, so a business owns its own WhatsApp Business Account and is billed by Meta at Meta's own published rates. A reseller shares a credit line into your Meta business portfolio which, per Meta's own documentation, only they can revoke. We would rather not be able to do that to anyone.
The name
From جواب — jawab, Arabic for "answer". The product is sold in a market that asks in two languages, and it answers in whichever one the customer used.
What we will not claim
Jabee is an independent product. It is not endorsed by, affiliated with, or a partner of Meta Platforms, Inc., and WhatsApp is their trademark, not ours. We do not mark up what Meta charges, and we say plainly on the pricing section that a business using Jabee gets two bills: ours, and Meta's.
Talking to us
Email hello@jabee.ai, or message us on WhatsApp — which is, after all, the product. M4B1 is also on LinkedIn.
We write about what we find building this at the blog: what Meta actually charges after the October 2026 changes, why WhatsApp numbers get restricted, and how the Cloud API behaves in production.
